boho_embraceI was surfing the Internet for ideas and I CASE’d this card. It’s from Andrea Walford’s blog. You can find her’s here. I love a whole host of things she’s shared on her blog. But, this is the first card I’ve CASE’d from her. Mine is similar is structure, but not quite in elements/paper choices.  I used very vanilla (base), close to cocoa, baja breeze and urban garden DSP. The page holder is from the hodgepodge pewter set. And, I topped it all off with pumpkin pie ribbon. I have to admit – having to think of measurements lately has been quite draining for me. So, this card was a real treat when the numbers were already given. This card came together lickety split! I liked that A LOT! hehehehe

When I colored in the leaves (from Embrace Life ) with kiwi kiss I was trying to figure out what flower I was going to use since I didn’t have the stamp set Andrea is showing on her card. I grabbed my Boho punch and used the smallest flower punched out of very vanilla. I dipped my blender pen in baja breeze first, then I did the center with pacific point followed my a hint of summer sun and then dotted the centers with a black pigment pen. I popped them up on dimensional’s and tried to strategically place them on the leaf image. I love the color combo!  AND, I love this new (eyelet) punch that is on loan to me at the moment. I am giving it quite a workout and will be giving it some more come this weekend. *grins* I might just have to conveniently lose this in my studio. hahahahaha  So, I am slowly but surely making room in my heart for baja breeze. *smiles*  I’m trying…

Thanks for buzzing by….God bless and have a great day. 🙂
